Pick the rollerball or travel spray you want to use for the actual trip. Both can be your main fragrance away from home. Neither must be assigned to midday touch-ups while the other handles a supposedly complete first application.
Rollerball means a contact applicator; travel spray means a portable atomizer package. Neither tells you a fixed concentration, capacity or formula.

This record is more useful than assuming rollers belong in bags and sprays at home. A travel spray is already a carry format, while a large roller may not fit your toiletries pouch.
Do not rely on the word travel
Check current official rules for every relevant journey. For U.S. screening, consult the TSA’s liquids guidance and perfume item guidance . Rules and screening arrangements vary, so travel size on a product title is not certification for your route.
Container capacity and baggage type matter separately from applicator. Do not assume a rollerball is exempt from liquid rules or that a partly used large bottle counts as a small container.
Select quantity without a universal dose count
If you already know your usage, use that experience to choose an amount. If you do not, avoid promising that a specific small volume lasts a particular number of days. One spray and one roll are not standardized equal doses.
You may prefer one scent for the whole trip or several small formats. Carrying more is a preference, not a necessary fragrance wardrobe. A short trip does not automatically require buying another full bottle.
Closures and use
Inspect the selected package and follow maker care instructions. Factory-sealed, refillable and cartridge-based products are different designs. Verify compatibility before transferring a liquid or buying a replacement vial.
Use as directed in an appropriate place. Neither rollerball nor travel spray guarantees quiet wear, office suitability or fabric permission. A different applicator does not change a fragrance-free rule.
