Short answer: Dossier Gourmand White Flowers and ALT. Fragrances Petal Explosion both name Flowerbomb as their inspiration, and Dossier publishes its notes. Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum and Ariana Grande Ari are designer neighbors that go sweeter and fruitier. None is the original, and none can be called identical.

This page is desk research. It draws on Dossier’s product page, Amazon listings checked on October 20, 2026 and a published roundup. We have not smelled, worn or blind-compared any of these. The roundup comes from Scento, which sells perfume and decants, so its ranking is opinion with a commercial interest, and it contradicts itself on a few details, which we note below.

The alternatives

Dossier Gourmand White Flowers: the clearest statement

Dossier’s Gourmand White Flowers page says it is inspired by Viktor&Rolf’s Flowerbomb and lists bergamot, green tea, freesia and berries on top, white flowers, orchid and rose in the heart, and musk, patchouli, caramel and vanilla at the base. It also says Dossier is not affiliated with Viktor&Rolf. Scento calls it the closest overall match but smoother, sweeter and closer to the skin, with less detail than the designer. The Amazon listing is the 50 ml Eau de Parfum sold by Dossier.

  • Choose it if you want to read the notes before you buy and prefer a brand that states its inspiration.
  • Skip it if the room-filling presence of Flowerbomb is the point; Scento describes Dossier as softer.

ALT. Fragrances Petal Explosion: the second brand-named option

The Amazon listing says Petal Explosion is inspired by Flower Bomb, in an Extrait de Parfum. Scento describes it with Sambac jasmine, Centifolia rose and orchid over a vanilla, patchouli and musk base, and calls it the closest true clone; the only support it gives for its similarity score is “community consensus.” Amazon lists a 60 ml size and a 100 ml size , both sold by ALT. Fragrances.

  • Choose it if you want a second brand-stated option to compare with Dossier.
  • Skip it if you want independent reviews first; the roundup’s closeness claim has no named source.

Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum: the sweeter designer neighbor

Scento’s table lists Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum with pear, tiger orchid, toffee and patchouli, and says it is sweeter and more gourmand than Flowerbomb, without the jasmine-and-rose brightness. It is a separate designer perfume rather than a lookalike. The 3.3 oz bottle is sold by Amazon.com.

  • Choose it if you want patchouli with a toffee sweetness.
  • Skip it if the white-floral brightness is what you want.

Ariana Grande Ari: lighter and fruitier

Scento describes Ari as a lighter, fruitier gourmand with softer patchouli and moderate projection. Amazon’s listing names pear, raspberry and vanilla orchid in a floral gourmand. The 3.4 oz Eau de Parfum is sold by Amazon.com.

  • Choose it if you like the floral-gourmand idea but want it lighter.
  • Skip it if you want Flowerbomb’s patchouli depth.

Scento also names Viktor&Rolf Bonbon, a caramel-led gourmand from the same house, YSL Mon Paris and Prada Candy Florale, and offers a sweeter swap in Lancome La Vie Est Belle; see our La Vie Est Belle dupes page . The roundup gives no sourced note lists for most of them, and its Flowerbomb opening notes and prices vary between sections, so we limited this page to picks we could tie to a note list or a maker statement.

The original, if you would rather start there

Viktor&Rolf sells Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum in 3.4 oz and 1 oz on Amazon, both new when we checked, with the listing naming peony, rose and freesia. Match the Eau de Parfum; Nectar, Bloom and other flankers are different perfumes.

Before you buy any of them

  • Sample the original first. If you do not enjoy Flowerbomb itself, a cheaper interpretation will not fix that.
  • Name what you like. The white florals, the patchouli or the caramel? Check the one you care about against the notes above.
  • Judge each alternative on its own. Buy it because you like wearing it, not because a roundup used the word “dupe.”
  • Compare the seller and the return terms. Opened fragrance is often final sale.

Frequently asked questions

Is any of these the same as Flowerbomb?

No. Each is a separate formula from a different maker. Dossier and ALT. Fragrances say their perfumes are inspired by Flowerbomb, and Dossier states it is not affiliated with Viktor&Rolf. The designer picks are different perfumes that a roundup compares with it.

Which alternative shares the most notes with Flowerbomb?

Going by published lists, Dossier Gourmand White Flowers. Dossier lists bergamot, green tea, freesia and berries, then white flowers, orchid and rose, then musk, patchouli, caramel and vanilla. Scento lists Flowerbomb with tea, bergamot and osmanthus, then jasmine, orchid, rose, freesia and orange flower, then patchouli, musk, vanilla and caramel. Overlap on paper does not mean the two smell alike.

Is Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum a Flowerbomb dupe?

Not in the usual sense. Scento describes it as sweeter and more gourmand, with pear, tiger orchid, toffee and patchouli, and without Flowerbomb’s jasmine-and-rose brightness.

What if I want a sweeter, richer swap instead?

Scento names Lancome La Vie Est Belle as a sweeter, more dessert-like swap. Our La Vie Est Belle dupes page covers it and its own alternatives.

How can I try one without buying a large bottle?

Amazon lists Flowerbomb in a 1 oz bottle as well as 3.4 oz, ALT. Fragrances Petal Explosion in 60 ml and 100 ml, and Dossier in a single 50 ml size. Return rules for opened fragrance vary by seller, so read the terms on the offer you use.
